ADP-212M

First class powered cabinets

High output, self powered (class D switch mode power supply) with PFC (Power Factor Correction), two-way stage monitor.
Consists of two 12″ transducers with aluminium voice coil and a compression driver with 1.4″ titanium diaphragm with 55º conic dispersion.
DSP (FIR technology) controlled with 2250W amplification, 139dB SPL.

Description

The ADP-212M Stage monitor is part of the ADP Self powered, DSP (with FIR Filters) integrated Series. It has been designed to offer the utmost sound reinforcement reliability, incorporating the latest acoustical and electronical technology and delivering incredible, dynamic sound.

Two-way stage monitor providing exceptional performance. Each cabinet has a DSP integrated for system protection and optimization. Other features include temperature sensor, fan speed control, Ethernet options and many more.

Weight and performance are two important considerations when choosing a monitor. The ADP-212M has an unbeatable power to size ratio, there is no need for external amplification racks, is very light weight and as such is the ideal solution for portable or fixed sound reinforcement enabling quick and easy set-ups.

Hardware for ADP-212M

Enclousure-ADP

Enclosure

The ADP-212M cabinet is constructed from 11-ply premium birch plywood (15mm thickness) and finished with polyurea coating

ADP-int

Internal design

The internal structure of the ADP-212M is heavily braced for greater longevity and all parts are assembled on metal inserts with metric screws. The amplification modules & DSP are housed in a separate chamber to the drivers avoiding excessive heat & vibration, thus delivering greater efficiency and reliability.

ADP-side-panel

Side panel

The powder coated steel side panel contains all connections and houses the ADP-212M amplification modules and DSP, is easily accessible and housed separately from the drivers for increased reliability and efficiency

ADP-grill-M

Grill

The ADP-212M has a heavy duty, powder coated front grille with a special acoustic rear fabric to protect the transducers against dust and dirt.

ADP-handle

Handles

An ergonomic, handle with firm internal grip is located on each side of the ADP-212M enclosure to facilitate transport, positioning and loading of the cabinets.

Transport LX-212S

Transport

A durable flight case is available to transport two ADP-212M.

Components

For the low-mid frequencies it uses two 12” (76mm voice coil) transducers. The high frequencies are looked after by a neodymium compression driver with a 1.4” titanium diaphragm delivering 55º conic dispersion.

Dual 12” exponential speakers with aluminium voice coil. Titanium diaphragm for the HF driver with Mylar surround to provide damping and avoid resonant peaks typical of metal surrounds. Extremely smooth and extended high frequency response. Special GFK horn (55º x 55º) for improved acoustic loading and controlled coverage.

Amplification & DSP

Bi-amplified Class D with switching power supply and PFC (Power Factor Correction). With PFC the power supply regulates itself when AC mains change, so the amp power output will not change with mains swinging. This system is also very environmentally friendly with a reduction of approximately 40% of current draw.

The amplification far exceeds the transducers needs thus resulting in high output, high damping factor and extremely low levels of distortion. It includes one 1500W power module for the LF/MF and a 750W for the HF.

The module is also equipped with extensive protection circuitry including power limiters, thermal shutdown, short circuit & overload and clip limiter.
