Coaxial point source speakers

The CPS (Coaxial Point Source) Series is Lynx Pro Audio’s high-output point source range, designed to provide controlled coverage, high intelligibility and consistent performance across a wide range of professional sound reinforcement applications.

The series combines coaxial transducer technology with compact enclosure designs and flexible system configurations. The range includes full-range loudspeakers, subwoofers and a dedicated stage monitor, providing scalable solutions for both fixed installations and live sound applications.

Selected self-powered models integrate amplification and DSP processing, combining acoustic design, electronics and system protection within the loudspeaker system.

CPS systems are supported by Lynx Pro Audio’s software ecosystem. Rainbow 3D provides electro-acoustic prediction and system design, while OCS (Online Control System) enables configuration, monitoring and control of compatible systems.

Digital processing

Active models have a DSP integrated into each cabinet. This DSP, with double precision filters, 64bit internal processing and double dynamics (RMS & Peak) optimizes all the system components and electronics, providing maximum system efficiency and total protection whilst significantly and noticeably lowering distortion.

Self-powered

Active CPS cabinets include class D amplification, with switching power supply. The integrated amplification far exceeds the transducers’ needs thus resulting in high output, high damping factor and extremely low levels of distortion.

They are also equipped with energy saving PFC (Power Factor Correction). The power supply regulates itself when AC mains change, so the amp power output will not change with mains swinging. It reduces the current draw in 40% approximately.
