Smart & slim column speakers

The Ionic Series is Lynx Pro Audio’s range of Smart & Slim column loudspeakers, designed to provide clear sound reproduction, high speech intelligibility and controlled coverage in a compact, discreet format.

Designed for both fixed installations and portable sound reinforcement, the series includes four modular column loudspeakers, two of which are available in weather-resistant versions, together with a coaxial full-range loudspeaker and two dedicated subwoofers. This flexible system architecture allows different configurations to be adapted to the coverage and installation requirements of each project.

Ionic column loudspeakers can be powered from compatible Ionic subwoofers, which integrate amplification and DSP processing and provide dedicated presets for different system configurations.

The slim enclosure design and controlled directivity make the Ionic Series particularly suitable for acoustically challenging and reverberant spaces where speech intelligibility and precise sound coverage are essential.

Full-range enclosures are constructed from anti-rust steel, while the subwoofers are built from premium birch plywood and finished with a durable polyurea coating. Protective steel grilles backed with triple-layer acoustic textile provide additional protection while allowing effective airflow.

Custom colours and finishes are also available on request.

Self-powered

The ionic subwoofers include class D amplification, with switching power supply. The integrated amplification far exceeds the transducers’ needs thus resulting in high output, high damping factor and extremely low levels of distortion.

Digital processing

All ionic amp modules are controlled by the latest generation of Digital Signal Processing with a DSP integrated in to each cabinet. This DSP, with 56bit internal processing and double dynamics optimizes all the system components and electronics, providing maximum system efficiency and total protection whilst significantly and noticeably lowering distortion. Every box comes with different presets which include a basic full-range preset, various crossovers and a flat preset so that the user can adjust the parameters manually.

Online control

Online system (Ethernet or PC) to control each cabinet in real time. Allows the user to see the input level signal, fan speed, power module temperature etc.

Prediction Software

For simulating any ionic system, Lynx Pro Audio offers the Rainbow acoustic prediction software, which is very useful for planning all types of installation projects.
