Background sound reinforcement

The QB Series is Lynx Pro Audio’s compact passive loudspeaker range, designed for background sound reinforcement and fixed installations where the higher output capability of the HR or BS Series is not required.

The series comprises a two-way full-range loudspeaker and a dedicated subwoofer, providing a lightweight and versatile solution for applications where clear, consistent sound reproduction and discreet integration are priorities.

The full-range loudspeaker incorporates OCPP (Over Current Passive Protection) for high-frequency protection, while the subwoofer features SWR (Stationary Wave Reduction) technology to help reduce internal standing waves and optimise low-frequency performance.

Both enclosures are constructed from premium birch plywood and finished with a durable polyurea coating. The QB-5 features a protective steel grille backed with a triple-layer acoustic textile designed to allow airflow while helping protect the internal components. White finishes are also available on request.

QB Series loudspeakers can operate without dedicated processing; however, optimum system performance is achieved using Lynx Pro Audio presets developed for LUKA processors and GTX amplifiers. Use of the enclosures without the recommended processing or amplification may affect the product warranty.

Selected Components

All components have been carefully selected to offer a lightweight, versatile series delivering dynamic sound whilst remaining as competitively priced as possible and guaranteeing utmost reliability. All cabinets deliver a linear phase response and have been engineered to reduce distortion. The series can boast exceptional coverage with wide horn-drivers fitted to all the cabinets. Cluster configurations are possible to increase both pressure and dispersion whilst maintaining excellent sound distribution and fidelity.

Electronic Protections

All QB Series Full Range cabinets are supplied with high frequency OCPP protection (Over Current Passive protection) whilst all Sub-bass models come with SWR (Stationary Wave Reduction) to reduce internal stationary waves.
