Audio Installation at Le Pélican Yacht Club, Beirut

Located along Beirut’s marina, Le Pélican Yacht Club is a carefully curated venue that merges minimalist design with warm Mediterranean character. Conceived by architect Antoine Maalouf, the space reflects a consistent architectural language open: layouts, natural materials, and soft visual continuity throughout. Every design element, from finishes to lighting, contributes to a quiet elegance where function and form are equally prioritized.

Le Pélican Yacht Club

A space where design and function meet

In such an environment, sound integration is more than a technical requirement: it is about preserving visual harmony while providing a clear and uniform sound. The room needed a system capable of maintaining acoustic coherence without altering the architectural intent. To achieve this, Eltek, our renowned distributor in Lebanon, installed eight Lynx Pro Audio BS-8 loudspeakers were installed in the main interior areas.

Lynx Pro Audio BS-8: Compact and accurate

The BS-8 is a compact passive full-range speaker designed for indoor fixed installations, especially in venues that demand both acoustic accuracy and visual subtlety. Each unit features an 8” low-frequency driver and a 1” compression driver mounted on a 90° x 60° constant directivity horn. With a sensitivity of 93 dB, the BS-8 provides sufficient output with a limited number of sources ideal for reducing hardware visibility in architecturally sensitive settings.

In this installation, all units were mounted at ceiling level using discreet brackets, allowing the system to blend seamlessly into the architectural framework without drawing visual attention. As a trusted expert audio-solution provider, Eltek has crafted a system that stays practically invisible while delivering natural, intelligible coverage throughout the dining areas.

A balanced audio solution for elegant interiors

Eltek’s installation at Le Pélican Yacht Club demonstrates how a system built around clear acoustic planning and appropriate loudspeaker selection such as the BS-8 by Lynx Pro Audio can deliver a high level of performance without compromising architectural integrity. It is a model of how professional audio systems can be applied with restraint and precision in design-driven environments.

Hard Rock Hotel Marbella: Outdoor Audio Installation

Hard Rock Hotel Marbella: Outdoor Audio Installation

For Hard Rock Hotel Marbella, music is not just part of the ambiance: it is a central piece of its brand identity. Located in Puerto Banús, this hotel combines contemporary design with a dynamic schedule of events, live performances and DJ sessions. Within this setting, the stage is a key space that requires an appropriate sound system to support the hotel’s daily activities.

Marine-grade finish: durability under demanding environmental conditions

Lynx Pro Audio was responsible for designing and implementing the speaker and amplification system, specifically tailored for high-traffic outdoor areas. The installation needed a solution capable of delivering balanced sound pressure, clear intelligibility, and stable performance throughout long operating hours. The technical choice focused on the HR series components, all finished in white and with Marine-grade versions to ensure resistance against moisture, sun exposure, and salty air without compromising the aesthetic of the surroundings.

The main coverage was handled by passive HR-1264 speakers with 12” drivers, controlled dispersion patterns, and 700 W AES power. These speakers are engineered to maintain consistent pressure and precise directivity, allowing them to cover wide areas without the need to raise volume excessively. They are especially effective in open spaces where clear ambiance is required without overwhelming acoustic presence.

Low-frequency reinforcement with HR-18 subwoofers

To reinforce low frequencies, the system includes HR-18 subwoofers, featuring 18” transducers and 1000 W AES power. Their extended response from 30 Hz provides a firm, controlled bass foundation, ideal for background music or more demanding sessions without upsetting the system’s balance or saturating the space.

Centralized amplification with XT-10K and Dante control

All amplification and processing is managed through a XT-10K unit, a digital 4-channel amplifier (4×3500 W) with integrated DSP and Dante connectivity. This solution enables the use of FIR filters, signal limiting, zone-by-zone control, and consistent response throughout the day. Additionally, its remote management capabilities simplify tuning and maintenance, especially in environments without dedicated technical staff on-site.

The result is a professional audio system perfectly adapted to the hotel’s real-world conditions. Discreet, efficient, and durable, this project demonstrates how a properly sized system can seamlessly blend into a premium environment without disrupting the design or guest experience. In spaces where image is everything, sound must also speak clearly.

Audio installation for the Lady of Joy church in Zahle

Audio installation for the Lady of Joy church in Zahle

In the hills of Zahle, Lebanon, the newly built Saydet El Farah (Lady of Joy) Orthodox Church opens its doors for the first time. Designed as a place of worship, reflection, and tradition, the space combines contemporary architecture with the timeless rituals of the Orthodox faith.

This is also a landmark achievement: the first Russian-style Orthodox church in Lebanon, built under the guidance of Metropolitan Niphon Saykaly, the representative of the Patriarchate of Antioch to the Moscow Patriarchate.

With large reflective surfaces, soaring ceilings, and limited natural absorption, the building presents the kind of acoustic challenges that demand a system focused on vocal intelligibility and directional control. Understanding these requirements, and in collaboration with our Lebanese distributor Eltek, Lynx Pro Audio provided a tailored audio installation designed to deliver clarity while respecting the visual integrity of the space.

To achieve this, the solution centered on Ionic column loudspeakers, well-suited for reverberant environments and highly controlled coverage. The main system is built around the Ionic V28, a passive two-way column speaker housing eight 4” drivers. With a narrow vertical and 100° horizontal dispersion pattern, the V28 ensures that energy is focused toward the congregation, minimizing reflections from hard surfaces like stone floors or vaulted ceilings. This helps maintain speech clarity throughout the space without the need for excessive SPL or corrective EQ.

Ionic Series: Designed for reverberant spaces

Supporting this setup are several Ionic V24 units. Each V24 includes four 4” drivers with 1” voice coils and a 1” high-frequency compression driver coupled to a waveguide. With a nominal impedance of 16 Ω, the V24 is ideal for extending coverage to side aisles or auxiliary zones. Its compact design and tonal consistency with the V28 allow the two models to function together seamlessly, eliminating the need for delay speakers even in long, narrow spaces.

Both columns feature a slim profile and white finish, ensuring unobtrusive integration into the church’s architectural design. Installation was carried out with concealed wiring and custom mounting, preserving the aesthetic continuity of the sanctuary while optimizing acoustic performance.

BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi from Lynx Pro Audio

The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi (UAE) is a project undertaken by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha and Lynx Pro Audio technology.

The BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi (UAE), is a traditional Hindu mandir built by the BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha. Inspired by Pramukh Swami Maharaj (1921–2016) and consecrated by Mahant Swami Maharaj on 14 February 2024, this is the first traditional Hindu mandir in Abu Dhabi.

In August 2015, the UAE government announced they would provide the land for the mandir. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, gifted 27 acres of land for the mandir.

The challenge of acoustically equipping a sacred space such as the BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi was one that Lynx Pro Audio masterfully addressed. Opened on 14 February 2024, this first traditional Hindu mandir in Abu Dhabi required a sound system that respected the ancient architecture while offering an immersive listening experience. The solution, a combination of precise acoustic design and state-of-the-art audio technology, has resulted in a space where sound becomes a unifying element between the spiritual and the technical.

The main auditorium of the BAPS Hindu Mandir is equipped with a powerful and advanced sound system to ensure crystal-clear audio for large gatherings and events.

MONDO-DR.

Outdoor sound system installation at Rock Bar Bali

The distributor Melodia, together with its partner AV Sontastic, were the companies in charge of ensuring the correct distribution and calibration of the sound throughout the area using the most suitable coatings. The installation was a challenge given the exceptional conditions of the open-air site, extended along the edge of a cliff 14 metres above sea level.

Given the particularities of the installation, Melodia and Sontastic decided to install all sound systems in a weatherproof version, an option offered by Lynx Pro Audio for extreme installations of this type, where venues need special protection designed to withstand extreme weather conditions, such as sunlight, salt and water.

WCX-8 and HR-1596/7: Loudspeakers for outdoor use

Eight WCX-8 compact speakers have been installed along the bar, a versatile and modular two-way coaxial enclosure designed for outdoor applications. It has an 8″ coaxial speaker offering a 70º conical dispersion coverage and a power of 300 W AES. As reinforcement for different areas, 7 two-way HR-1596/7 enclosures have been installed, a full-range system with a power of 700 W AES. It has a wide coverage of 90×60º and a passive/bi-amplified selector, mounting a 15″ speaker together with a 1.4″ driver and a rotatable horn that allows you to choose the most suitable coverage angle according to the installation.

To reinforce the low frequencies, three HR-218/20 high-performance passive subwoofers have been installed, with two 18″ speakers in direct radiation low-reflex configuration.

Challenges of professional audio in open-air cliffside venues

With omnidirectional coverage and 1200W AES power, the weatherproof products have specific features for greater outdoor durability and to withstand harsher weather conditions: anodized aluminum logo for better durability, stainless steel grill also available in aluminum with protective coating and micro-textured paint, weather tape edges, acustex filter to prevent water and external elements from penetrating, 35 ppi acoustic foam to prevent dust particles from affecting internal components, waterproof cone protected on both sides, aluminum back plate with pressure gland for extra tight connection and stainless steel screws.

To amplify the sound, five Lynx Pro Audio TS series amplifiers have been installed on the south and north sides of the venue. These are high performance 4 channel mid/high power power amplifiers dedicated to the installation market capable of meeting the requirements of any installation from 300 to 2500W. Sontastic said: “A well designed audio system should cater to a variety of musical preferences.

Rock Bar Bali, nominated as one of the best hotel bars in the world, it is distinguished by its exclusivity and exceptional atmosphere, positioning it as an incomparable oasis.
