The engine of the CXA-18SP is a powerful 18-inch (18”) neodymium transducer which boasts a robust 4-inch (4”) ventilated voice coil for superior heat dissipation and maximum power handling. This ensures the system maintains its integrity whilst achieving a formidable maximum output of 132 dB SPL, backed by a substantial 2400W Program rating, making it perfectly suited for the most rigorous professional audio demands.

Hardware for CXA-18SP

Enclosure

The CXA-18SP cabinet is constructed from 15-ply premium birch plywood and finished with polyurea coating.

Internal design

The internal structure of the CXA-18SP is heavily braced for greater longevity and all parts are assembled on metal inserts with metric screws.

Grill

The CXA-18SP has a heavy duty, powder coated front grille with a special acoustic rear fabric to protect the transducers against dust and dirt.

Handles

One ergonomic, die cast handle with firm internal grips is located on each side of the CXA-18SP enclosure to facilitate transport, positioning and loading of the cabinets.

Rigging

Integrated flying plates are located on each side of the enclosure, to link the CXA-18SP cabinets together or with the CXA-12P cabinets.

CXA-18SPIN

The CXA-18SPIN is the install version of the CXA-18SP cabinet. This version is specially designed for fixed installations.

Flying frame SV-CXAIN is an unique accessory for this version, it allows you to choose between three different positions to change the array’s inclination in a more easier way.
