LAIA SERIES

New compact and powerful array

The LAIA Series is Lynx Pro Audio’s range of self-powered professional sound systems, combining three line array modules LAIA-210, LAIA-28 and LAIA-26 with the LAIA-12 point source loudspeaker and two dedicated subwoofers, LAIA-18S and LAIA-218S. The range provides scalable solutions for fixed installations, rental applications and live sound reinforcement.

LAIA systems integrate Class D amplification, PFC power supplies and Lynx Pro Audio DSP processing. A 64-bit/96 kHz DSP platform with FIR filtering provides precise system processing and control, while selected components incorporate Tetracoil technology to support high excursion and controlled transducer behaviour.

The self-powered architecture integrates amplification, processing and system protection within each system, simplifying deployment while maintaining consistent performance across different configurations. Compatible LAIA systems can also be remotely configured and monitored through OCS (Online Control System).

A dedicated range of rigging and stacking accessories provides flexible deployment options for both flown and ground-stacked configurations, supporting efficient setup in touring and installation environments.

Self-powered

Both LAIA cabinets include class D amplification, with switching power supply. The integrated amplification far exceeds the transducers’ needs thus resulting in high output, high damping factor and extremely low levels of distortion.

They are also equipped with energy saving PFC (Power Factor Correction). The power supply regulates itself when AC mains change, so the amp power output will not change with mains swinging. It reduces the current draw in 40% approximately.
