In a multi-purpose venue of this scale, where acoustics are as critical as the athletes’ performance, ensuring perfect intelligibility and uniform sound pressure presents a significant engineering challenge.
To achieve championship-level acoustics, the venue has entrusted Lynx Pro Audio technology, via a fixed installation executed by Sonovideo, the company responsible for the pavilion’s comprehensive sound reinforcement.
A demanding environment: Rhythmic gymnastics
The pavilion recently hosted a national junior rhythmic gymnastics competition. In this discipline, music is integral; it dictates the rhythm and emotion. Therefore, high-frequency precision and definition in the low end are paramount.
For this particular event, the audiovisual reinforcement was managed by Elemtec. To optimise the response to the specific demands of the competition, Elemtec supplemented the fixed installation by incorporating additional CPS Series enclosures.
