The store’s design seamlessly reflects Norwegian history and nature, blending them with a modern, contemporary style. Show dance tour in France with LX-F6

Show dance tour in France with LX-F6

For the 2010 Show Dance Tour, which took place across some of France’s most iconic Zenith venues, the Lynx LX-F6 was selected to provide sound reinforcement. The Show Dance production, known for its captivating choreography and dynamic performances, required a powerful audio solution to ensure every moment resonated with audiences throughout the tour.

The LX-F6, part of Lynx Pro Audio’s LX series, is a high-performance loudspeaker designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Its robust design, exceptional clarity, and impressive power handling made it the perfect choice for the high-energy Show Dance performances. The speaker’s ability to deliver precise sound coverage across large spaces was essential in the Zeniths, ensuring that the audience could hear every note and beat clearly, no matter where they were seated.

Rigging Montevideo

Leonardo Federici, Sound Technician for the gig commented:

“I was so impressed by the V8, it was the easiest system I have ever had to rig up. The inclinometer is really useful and should be obligatory on all arrays, Lynx have made a great innovation there. The pressure was incredible, it was really clear and the coverage was fantastic. This venue has a reputation for not being well heard at the sides but the V8 didn’t dissapoint at this gig and there was no need for out fills. The V8 system is really at the top level. Ah and the subs – The LX-218S are just incredible, I love them! They are so powerful and light and I never imagined could sound that good. I used the Rainbow before the gig and that really helped me too, it was very precise”.

Todd Terry & Roger Sanchez

Todd Terry & Roger Sanchez with Lynx Pro Audio.

On March 4th, the vibrant city of Valencia had the distinct pleasure of hosting two of the world’s most iconic and beloved DJs, Todd Terry and Roger Sanchez. Known for their unparalleled contributions to house music and their magnetic presence on stage, the event promised to be an unforgettable night for all in attendance, and it certainly lived up to the hype.

The massive event took place in the heart of Valencia at the city’s famous Bull Ring, a venue that’s no stranger to hosting large-scale performances and celebrations. This time, it welcomed over 20,000 enthusiastic music lovers from all corners of the globe, eager to experience the electrifying beats of these two legendary figures in the dance music world.

For the side fill monitoring, two ADP-215 units and a single LX-218S subwoofer were used to guarantee that both Todd Terry and Roger Sanchez received a balanced, immersive audio experience. The LX-218S subwoofers were strategically arranged in a double line configuration, a design choice that helped eliminate any phase cancellations and provided a more even distribution of bass across the entire coverage area. This meticulous planning allowed both DJs to perform without any distractions from inconsistent sound, ensuring they could focus entirely on delivering a high-energy performance.

As part of the setup, 12 LX-V8 boxes were flown on each side of the stage at FOH, with the entire sound system meticulously calibrated using Lynx Pro Audio’s cutting-edge Rainbow software. The result was a seamless integration of sound that not only delivered outstanding clarity but also provided a dynamic and immersive auditory experience for the massive crowd.

Todd Terry & Roger Sanchez are renowned for their high pressure priority and the two DJs were more than covered with the ADP-215 and LX-218S side fill.
